FBAS 84 Getting the Most Out of Your Writing ($40)
As Abraham Maslow pointed out, if the only tool you have is a hammer, you tend to treat everything as a nail. The focus here is to have more writing tools at your disposal. Sessions will include getting the most out of your story structure, characters, dialogue, humor, action sequences, and descriptive techniques. We’ll fine-tune what you already know and reveal the importance of combining individuality and creativity to yield that rarest of elements, originality. The course is taught by a published writer and former Program Director for the Riverside Arts Foundation.
